Josh Collins has now been paddling for over a month, making his way into the East Coast of Florida. His mission, to raise awareness for TBI and PTSD, has been set in motion and is beginning to make headway. Although he has been hit by the flooding in Louisiana, gale force winds, and storms that have produced 6+ foot waves, Josh is keeping his head up and moving forward.
On April 2nd, Josh made his stop into BOTE Headquarters hometown of Fort Walton Beach, Florida at Helen Back restaurant. Josh was greeted by the entire BOTE team, local news, and around one hundred other OPPHX supporters. Helen Back helped to raise funds for Task Force Dagger Foundation with 50% of pizza sales going to the charity--making it an epic event!
Josh now endeavors north with a rallies in Cocoa Beach, Savannah, and Charleston. If you are in the area, please join Josh at his rallies to help support the cause! Follow Josh on his expedition to see more info about rally stops and help us get the word out about this courageous man and his journey to paddle for this prevalent problem!
The first winner of the OPPHX Raffle, Chad Nelson, visited BOTE Headquarters this week to pickup his new 12'6 OPPHX Limited Edition Traveller! Purchase your ticket to win the second OPPHX Limited Edition board!
