How To: Stand Up On Your Paddle Board

The best way to get on to your feet is to begin on your knees and work up to being on your feet.

Keep in mind:

  • The carry handle is the center point of the board
  • Your feet should replace your knees once fully transitioned
  • Place your hands on the board and position your paddle perpendicular to the board right on the deck
  • Keep your feet wide for added balance
  • Bring your hand to the top of the paddle and begin paddling
  • You can always come back to your knees if you begin to feel unstable at any point (boat wake, surf ect.)
