Introducing the Zeppelin Aero Inflatable Kayak

For years, BOTE has been developing products that marry innovative design with cool vintage vibes, helping you stand apart on any lake, ocean, or river. From simple yet effective accessories, like the Grab Rac or KULA Cooler, to products designed for specific yet passionate hobbyists, like the Rackham paddle board and Rover micro skiff, BOTE knows how to deliver.

So when we stepped back to evaluate our line of inflatable kayaks, we realized a need for a truly recreational kayak, one built for those wanting to get outdoors without the hassle. So we focused on what matters most in a kayak. Don't worry, it's still packed with cool shit, we even figured out a way to turn it into a tandem kayak--a completely new and transformative feature in our inflatable kayak line.

Paddle it down the Everglades, cast off along Catalina Island, or just pop it into a nearby river. It's our most versatile kayak yet. Introducing the Zeppelin Aero Inflatable Kayak.

"This is a recreational paddling kayak. It's great in all bodies of water and designed to be used from coast to river. Extremely stable thanks to its wide frame, the paddler stays centered for an easy to paddle experience." - Corey Cooper, BOTE CEO and Co-Founder

When BOTE introduced the 12'6" LONO Aero Inflatable Kayak and the slightly shorter 11' DEUS Aero Inflatable Kayak, the goal wasn't necessarily to transform the kayak market, but they kind of did. First off, they're inflatable kayaks that essentially outperform traditional solid kayaks. But they also transform from a kayak to a stand up paddle board, allowing you to change your SUP preference at a moment's notice. The LONO and DEUS answered a need for the extreme adventurer, the hardcore fisherman, and the person looking to spend every moment they can on the water.

The Zeppelin boils down what you love most about a kayak and packs it into an easy to set up inflatable form, taking you from roller bag to buoyant in no time. If you're wondering if the Zeppelin is the right fit for your lifestyle, know that the beauty of the Zeppelin is its adaptable nature.

Stable and easy to use, the Zeppelin keeps you high and dry above the water, making it a great recreational kayak. It's durable, so as you run across the bumps and crashes that come with the learning curve of kayaking, the Zeppelin keeps its form and stays strong.

A completely new feature with the Zeppelin is its ability to turn from a single kayak to a tandem kayak. If you and your best bud, significant other, or little buddy are looking to get out on a kayak, buying two of them can seem daunting. With the Zeppelin, just pop on an additional inflatable seat, sold separately, and you're ready to hit water.

Where do people store solid kayaks? Seriously, we'd love to know. More and more, people are gravitating to smaller living spaces, swapping the appeal of multi-car garages and acres of land for an easier to maintain (and easier to enjoy) lifestyle. We get it. The downside is, well, the downsize in space, having to become space Houdini's with every square foot. The Zeppelin goes from 12'6" of sturdy kayak to a roller bag that can fit in virtually any space, like above your closet, under your bed, or definitely in the trunk of your car.

No space? No problem.

With the Zeppelin Aero Inflatable Kayak, you get the stability of a traditional kayak with the ease of an inflatable. Using drop stitch technology in the floor and inflatable seats, it's as slick looking as our solid paddle boards, and jam packed with features, making it truly stands apart from the rest.

Lightweight and portable, the Zeppelin fits into a specifically designed roller bag, so you can take it virtually anywhere. Throw it in the trunk of your car, sit it next to you on the subway, or pack on a plane. Then just walk it out to your favorite launch point, inflate and use either of the front and back grab handles to lift it into the water.

It's super stable, keeping you elevated from the floor with an inflatable seat, so you stay dry while you practice your stroke. Its nose and tail displacement cone cuts through the water for a smoother ride. The seat is also adjustable, so whether you prefer a reclined angle or a perfect posture stance, it's your choice.

Kayaking solo is one thing, and we've built the Zeppelin to paddle solo in style, using BOTE's drop stitch construction in the inflatable seat. Paddling with a partner is a great way to experience the outdoors together, so we also built that into the Zeppelin. With a weight capacity of 600 lbs and connection loops designed into the kayak, it's super easy to add a second inflatable seat and have your buddy hop on with you.

While coming in at a lower price point, we still packed it with all the awesome shit you're looking for. We honestly can't help it.

Running full length traction across the kayak, you stay firmly planted should you decide to move about the Zeppelin. If you have some loose cargo you need to secure down, the front area is equipped with bungee holds. Just lift up the bungee, shove your sandals in, and watch it snap back in place, flip flops locked down.

It's not a day on the water without a cold drink by your side. But there's also not many things worse than knocking over that frosty beverage. Not to worry -- we got you. Introducing the newest BOTE innovation: MAGNEPOD, a revolutionary, tool-less drink retention system that makes securing your beverage a snap. BOTE's magnetic drinkware line (coming soon: MagneTumblers and MagneKoozies) have a 2" neo-magnet mounted permanently in the bottom, which quickly and securely connects your drinkware to the MAGNEPOD magnetic base. The launch of the Zeppelin marks the very first time the MAGNEPOD system will be available. So drink up and paddle on, friends.

The Rac Receivers behind the solo seat are cleverly placed so you can fit a Bucket Rac for your KULA cooler, and if you're operating the Zeppelin as a tandem kayak, the KULA tie downs allow you to securely place your cooler in a convenient spot. Need a place to put your paddle while you grab a cold one? Just strap it into the velcro paddle straps on either side of your kayak.

"I dig the versatility of it. I think it's the most versatile kayak we make. It's form, function and ability and the fact that it's inflatable and packable, it's what gets me f@$&'ing fired up." - Corey Cooper, BOTE CEO and Co-Founder

At BOTE, we're a bunch of middle-aged people with families who love to be on the water, so we build products for just that. If you're looking to join the water tribe multi-use solo or tandem kayak and live a little on the water without breaking the bank, look no further than the new, the kickass, the Zeppelin Aero Inflatable Kayak.
