I am a Texas born-and-bred native from Waco, Texas. Currently, I’m a Geology Ph.D. Candidate at Baylor University–or as I tell my friends–I’m a Rock Dr. in training. Throughout my geology career, my expeditions have taken me to some of the most amazing places the world has to offer. So I figured… what a better opportunity to pack a camera, fly rod, and an inflatable board than this! That’s when I was introduced to the BOTE Drift, and it has completely reinvented my outdoor\/adventure experience (while adding a few extra days to all of my geology field work). When I’m at home in Texas, you can find me Drift(in’) sight casting to bass in crystal clear spring water, running flood stage Central Texas rivers, paddling to a sweet duck hunting hole, or “sailgating” at Baylor Bear Football games. If I’m not on my paddleboard I’m likely wake surfing, editing adventure footage, or doing some awesome, nerdy geology things\nI have had the pleasure of introducing a lot of Central Texans to the art of fly fishing and paddle boarding, and I’m beyond stoked to be a part of the BOTE team.
