BOTE®, a leader in standup paddle board innovations, announces a new product to their line-up of stand up paddle boards. The Flow is a new inflatable paddle board that is destined to be a hit among kids and families.
“The Flow was created with Kids in mind.” says Magda Cooper, COO of BOTE® and mother of two small children. “Being a mother, and seeing first-hand how destructive kids can be led us to design the Flow to be tough, lightweight, and easy to transport. Since its a soft board, it safe enough for kids to play on without having to worry about them getting hurt.”
Made of military grade PVC, the same material used in white water rafting boats, the Flow is virtually indestructible. “We didn’t want to make a product that would just be discarded after one summer. The Flow is something that kids can grow up with,” says Magda.
When inflated, the Flow is a smaller paddle board measuring just 8 feet tall. Don’t let the small size fool you though, this feature-rich paddle board is super stable and boasts an official capacity of 170 pounds. Capable of being inflated in just a few minutes with its included air pump or deflated within a few seconds, the Flow can be easily transported inside its own backpack/roller board style bag.
Some design features that make this new board unique are its multiple grab handles for easily dragging the board around and its multi-textured deck pad for superior grip. A bungee strap system on the nose of the board makes it easy to carry a life jacket or other gear while an integrated d-ring allow the Flow to be tied off to a boat or anchor.
In recent years, stand-up paddle boarding, or SUP for short, has become one of the fastest growing water sports on the planet often sporting triple digit growth rates over the past few years. “The draw to stand-up paddle boarding is because its easy to do, its really fun and its good for you!” says Magda. “The Flow provides an affordable way to get out on the water with your children to begin instilling a healthy lifestyle.”
The Flow will be available for purchase from boteboard.com beginning September 10, 2015. For more information about the Flow visit boteboard.com/flow.
